Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of Mochi, including prompts, uploads, generated images, video, audio, account activity, sharing features, and any automated or API-based access Mochi may support.

This policy works together with the Mochi Terms of Use. Some AI model providers may apply additional restrictions to particular models or workflows, and those restrictions also apply when you use that provider through Mochi.

Do not use Mochi to create, upload, process, distribute, request, or facilitate content or activity that violates applicable law or regulation.

Do not use Mochi to plan, enable, conceal, or materially assist criminal activity or other unlawful conduct.

Mochi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, or content that sexualizes minors, whether the content is real, edited, synthetic, or AI-generated.

Do not use Mochi to create, transform, upload, possess, share, request, or facilitate this material. Attempts to do so may result in immediate account restriction or termination and may be reported where required by law.

Do not use Mochi to create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, sexualized depictions of real people without consent, or content depicting sexual violence or exploitation.

Do not use image editing, reference images, face replacement, or similar workflows to place a real person into an intimate or sexual context without appropriate consent.

Do not use Mochi for fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, forged evidence, fake documents, deceptive impersonation, or other activity intended to materially mislead or harm another person.

Do not create or distribute manipulated or synthetic media of a real person in a way intended to falsely represent that person's actions, statements, identity, or endorsement where the deception could cause meaningful harm.

Do not use Mochi to threaten, stalk, harass, defame, intimidate, or target another person with abusive or degrading content.

Do not use Mochi to promote hatred, discrimination, dehumanization, or violence against people based on protected characteristics or identity.

Do not use Mochi to promote, praise, recruit for, materially support, or provide propaganda for terrorist or violent extremist activity.

Do not use Mochi to provide meaningful assistance for serious physical harm, weapons misuse, or other dangerous wrongdoing.

Graphic or violent creative content may also be restricted where necessary to protect users, comply with provider rules, or keep the service appropriate for its intended creative use.

Only upload, edit, or process content you have the right and permission to use. Do not use Mochi to infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, personality, or other rights belonging to another person or organization.

Do not upload or expose private, confidential, biometric, financial, authentication, or other sensitive information about another person without an appropriate legal basis and permission.

Do not use Mochi to create or distribute synthetic media intended to deceive people about important factual events, public safety information, or the authentic source of content in a way that could cause material harm.

Where context matters, you are responsible for presenting generated or edited content in a way that does not intentionally mislead people about what is real, authentic, or independently verified.

Do not use Mochi to generate or distribute spam, fake reviews, fraudulent engagement, mass deceptive advertising, or other coordinated inauthentic activity.

Do not use Mochi-generated content to impersonate genuine customer experiences, endorsements, or independent opinions where doing so would be misleading.

Do not introduce malware, probe or attack Mochi systems, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected data, interfere with other users, or disrupt service availability.

Do not bypass authentication, content safeguards, moderation systems, credit controls, provider restrictions, rate limits, provenance mechanisms, or other technical protections.

Do not use multiple accounts, scripts, proxies, or other methods to evade restrictions or enforcement.

Automated use must stay within the access methods, limits, and permissions Mochi explicitly provides.

Do not use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or other automation to overload the service, imitate human activity to evade limits, access unsupported endpoints, harvest user data, or perform prohibited activity at scale.

Some Mochi workflows are powered by third-party AI models. A provider may prohibit content or activity beyond the categories listed in this policy.

Mochi may block, limit, or disable a request when required by provider rules, technical safeguards, legal obligations, or reasonable safety concerns. A request not being automatically blocked does not mean that it is permitted.

You are responsible for prompts, uploads, generated outputs, account activity, and how you use or distribute content outside Mochi.

Before publishing or relying on generated content, you should review it for accuracy, permissions, rights, safety, and suitability for the intended use.

Mochi may use automated safeguards, provider controls, and manual review where appropriate to detect or respond to suspected misuse.

Depending on the circumstances, Mochi may block a request, remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend access, or close an account. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate action.

Mochi may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or safety obligations.

If you believe Mochi is being used in a way that violates this policy, infringes your rights, or creates a serious safety concern, use the Contact page and provide enough information for the issue to be reviewed.

Mochi may update this policy as the service, available AI capabilities, provider requirements, and legal or safety expectations change.

When this policy is materially updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be revised.
